Why Licensing Matters Once the Car Crosses the Line
Birds Eye is licensed under Tennessee law, regulated by the Tennessee Private Investigation and Polygraph Commission. That license does not automatically authorize PI work in Georgia, Alabama or anywhere else. Each state sets its own rules, and some allow limited follow-through from another state while others do not.

Trip cases have more moving parts than a local evening of surveillance: travel time, coordination with another licensed agency, and sometimes lodging. That is why the details are written down before any work begins, including which portions Birds Eye handles and which the destination PI handles.
The more notice you give, the better the plan. A week before departure allows destination research and licensing checks. A call the night before can still work for Tennessee departure coverage, but the out-of-state portion may be limited.
